Text messaging
How we use text messages, how you opt in, and how you stop them.
What we send
RattleWorks LLC, including our Hill Country Plumbing & Drain demonstration line, sends conversational text messages to people who have asked to hear from us. Most messages are about a specific inquiry: following up on a call we missed, asking what service is needed, offering appointment times, and confirming a booking. Occasionally we may send an informational or promotional message, such as a seasonal service reminder, to people who have agreed to receive them.
- Message frequency
- Varies. A typical inquiry involves one to five messages.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
- Automated messages
- Some conversations are handled by an automated assistant. We say so when you ask, and a person is available on request.
- Carriers
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How you opt in
You agree to receive messages from us in one of three ways:
- You call or text one of our business phone numbers. Your call or text starts the conversation, and our first reply identifies us and tells you how to stop.
- You fill out the opt-in form below.
- You give us your number and your consent during a phone call.
We do not buy, rent, or borrow phone lists. We never sell or share your phone number or your consent with anyone else for their marketing.
How you opt out
Reply STOP to any message and you will receive one confirmation text and nothing further. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or email cyress@rattleworks.co.
Opt-in form
Use this form if you would like us to text you about a service inquiry. By submitting it you agree to receive text messages from RattleWorks LLC as described on this page, and you accept our privacy policy and terms of service. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Hill Country Plumbing & Drain is a demonstration business used to test and show our answering service. It does not perform plumbing work. In an emergency, contact a licensed plumber in your area. If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911.
